The safety and well being of the citizens of the Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District is the sole purpose of this organization’s existence.

We pledge to the citizens and individuals that pass thru the Fire Protection District, that we will serve, protect and assist in their emergency needs in a professional, efficient, caring and responsible manner. When asked, we will lend assistance to any of our surrounding fire departments that are in need of equipment, manpower or moral support.

As trained professionals we stand ready to respond, when called, any time of the day or night under any type of conditions to assist the public in their needs of pre-hospital emergency health care, fire suppression or rescue/extrication.

We will concentrate our efforts to inform the citizens, especially the children of our district, about proper fire safety and prevention habits so everyone will have a safe living environment for all family members. We will provide fire safety inspection services for the industrial residents within our district to help maintain a safe working environment for their employees.

We pledge that our member training will be “up-to-date” and current with the newest advances in pre-hospital emergency health care as well as fire and rescue techniques. Our equipment will be maintained in the highest working order and continually evaluated for upgrading.
