Firefighters searching the crash area of Flight 587

    Firefighting is an exciting

and an ever-changing, highly rewarding occupation. Most firefighters enjoy the warmth of camaraderie among their new extended family , the challenge of bringing physical skills and mental abilities to play in life saving emergency situations, and the opportunity to provide care & service to people in their time of need. You are not only rewarded with the satisfaction of a job well done, but you are able to work a variety of shifts, have job security, excellent pay, as well as receive additional training and future career opportunities.

If you become a firefighter, you are part of a strong tradition of individuals who are dedicated to the fire service and who have found their place in it.
