Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection
district is taking applications to
establish an eligibility list for
the position of
Firefighter/Paramedic.
-
Applications may be obtained in
person, Monday thru Friday
beginning May 7th
from 8 am – 4 pm at the Fire Station
at 210 E. North Street, Elburn, IL thru May
27th.
-
There is a $25.00 fee for
picking up an application which must
be paid by cash, money order, or
cashier check.
-
Applications must be
returned to the Fire Station no
later than May 27th at 4 pm.
-
A
mandatory orientation will be held
on June 5th beginning at 7:00 pm at
Fire Station at 210 E. North Street,
Elburn, IL.

The
written exam will be on June 7th at
9:00 am.
-
No one will be admitted
after these posted times.
Position
Requirements

Between the age of 21 and less
than 35 at the time of
application

A
valid Candidate Physical Ability
Test (CPAT) Card at time of
hire.

High
School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Illinois Drivers License

Firefighter II / Paramedic at
time of application

Starting Salary $45,835.35
