Requirements when submitting an application
to be a part time employee shall -
-
Be
Eighteen (18) years of age
-
Have a
High School Diploma or GED
equivalent
-
Submit
to and pass a background
investigation
-
Submit
to and pass a oral interview with
the Assistant Chiefs of the Fire
Department
-
Pass a
Physical ability test.
-
Pass a
physical examination by a physician
that represents the Elburn &
Countryside F.P.D.
No
certifications are required, as
training will be provided, but
candidates who are certified as a FFII or EMT may receive preference
in the selection process.
Residents of the Elburn &
Countryside Fire Protection District
will receive preference in the
selection process.
Applications may be picked up at
Elburn Fire Station #1 210 E. North
St. Elburn, IL during normal
business hours 7a.m – 4p.m.
